Gretchen is a Seattle based artist. She is well  known for her large colored pencil drawings that often explore memory, memory glitches, and visual glitches. She also has a unique materially direct visual language that opens up to include sticks, felting, and in this show, glyphs painted on paper.  Gretchenʻs most recent show was  large color pencil drawings at the Frye Art Museum. She is currently working on her first collection of essays.

Amelia lives in Tacoma where she pushes paint into structural paintings. Her colors and shapes are complicated play ending in memory like a smell.
